The outgoing chair nominated Commissioner Shannon Salvador for chair of the commission for 2026; the commission approved the nomination by voice vote. Commissioners then opened nominations for vice chair and, after a nomination, elected Jason Sutti to serve as vice chair.
The outgoing chair indicated willingness to remain on the commission as vice chair if desired but nominated Salvador for chair and volunteered to serve in another capacity. Commissioners welcomed the new chair and moved on to remaining agenda items.
