"My task was to look into or to, contact, Annie Gianni," Davis said, adding the commission’s work is "perfect for what I was looking into" on staffing and certification issues to produce more CTE educators.
Davis told members the focus of the planned inquiry is how Vermont and other states produce more CTE instructors and how policy can alleviate pipeline bottlenecks, including certification pathways and incentives to keep skilled instructors in teaching rather than returning to industry.
