The mayor provided price quotes to the clerk and said vehicle details and quotes would be resubmitted for committee review.
Chief McAvoy described typical usage of the pickup for scene and trailer transport and said trade‑ins would be applied where appropriate. Councilors asked for the city’s fleet inventory spreadsheet showing mileages, ages and replacement order so the committee can evaluate priorities. The mayor said budget materials are due back to his office Feb. 20 and that departments were asked to submit an “optimal” wish list to inform budgeting.
Committee members requested the redacted inventory and the vendor quotes be provided before the next committee meeting. The item will remain with the committee for the required second meeting.
