Library and youth programs: The El Segundo Public Library will host 'Tween Scene' for grades 3–5 on Feb. 23 from 3–4 p.m. (no registration required) and a 'Wonderful Wednesdays' series for kindergarten through second grade beginning Feb. 4 from 3–3:45 p.m. The library also offers a Lunar New Year workshop on Feb. 17 at 6 p.m.
Community events and closures: The city will host a Lunar New Year community celebration at The Pointe on Feb. 22 from 2–4 p.m., featuring a lion dance and cultural activities. City Hall, council offices and the library will be closed Monday, Feb. 16 for Presidents' Day.
