At the Jan. 28, 2026 Code Enforcement Board meeting, the board found that the property at 7667 Neemic Drive South (Case 25‑820) violated town code for pool water clarity and unsecured screening, and set a compliance deadline at the board’s next meeting on Feb. 25.
Complainant and former HOA president Linda Blash told the board the pool was "green and mossy at that point" and that she had submitted photos taken about a week earlier. Code enforcement noted the original notice and reinspection dates and said the violation remained at the time of hearing.
The property owner acknowledged the condition, said he had engaged a new pool technician that day, and reported replacing the pump. "He said in a couple of days, it'll be a lot clearer," the owner told the board. Code enforcement recommended monitoring the pool’s progress and confirmed staff would return to inspect. The board adopted a finding of violation and gave the owner until Feb. 25 to correct the pool clarity and repair the bottom screen panels necessary for health and safety. If the property is not brought into compliance, the board authorized a fine not to exceed $25 per day and scheduled a fine assessment hearing on Feb. 25.
Board members emphasized the health and safety rationale for requiring functioning pool equipment and secure screening to prevent hazards to children and the public. Code enforcement offered to follow up and inspect progress in the days after the meeting.
Other brief actions during the meeting included vacating an earlier fine in a separate driveway case (Case 25‑0471) after staff confirmed the property had come into compliance (motion carried).
