Kershaw County Council on Jan. 27 adopted a proclamation honoring the life of Patty Lou Templer, who the council recognized as the mother of County Administrator Danny Templer.
Chair read the proclamation memorializing Patty Lou Templer’s 87 years and the family memories she left behind. Several council members offered condolences and personal memories, with Council Member Jones, Council Member Shoemake and others speaking about the Templer family’s care and community service. Danny Templer thanked colleagues for their support and invited family members to join for a photograph.
The council voted unanimously for the proclamation among members present. Chair noted remote members were expected but some had connection issues.
