Allegan council approves payroll/accounts payable, adopts FY25 Q3 budget adjustments and schedules FY26 hearing

Council Member Walker had previously questioned a notable adjustment tied to a dam grant; staff indicated that detail had been shared with council and answered questions. The council moved to adopt Resolution 25.13 and approved the resolution.
Financial reporting and FY26 budget calendar: Staff presented the March 2025 revenue and expenditure report for council information and offered to provide bond and debt schedule details by email on request. Council moved to schedule a public hearing on May 12, 2025, to consider adoption of the FY2026 budget; the motion passed.
