The Clawson Planning Commission adopted its 2025 annual report at the Jan. 13, 2026 meeting and voted to forward it to the city council with corrections.
Staff explained the report follows the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act requirement that the commission prepare an annual summary of its activities. Commissioners identified two corrections: the Paul's Auto Wash site at 1339 West 14 Mile Road should be recorded as a special land use approval while the site plan was postponed, and the count of development applications should be 14 rather than 15 (one application had been double‑counted). Staff updated the digital document during the meeting to reflect those corrections.
A motion to adopt the report with those changes passed on a roll‑call vote; staff confirmed a corrected PDF will be forwarded to city council. When the council receives the report it is expected to receive and file it as part of its packet materials.
