Coldwater — On Nov. 24 the City Council adopted a resolution authorizing a lump-sum $55,000 engineering agreement to support 26th Street maintenance and sidewalk design and bidding.
City Manager Keith said this is the third such street‑maintenance engineering agreement approved recently and covers sidewalk work on West Chicago Street (East Chicago had been addressed previously) and other streets that are candidates for milling and paving or special assessments. The council was told the final selection of roads will depend on budget availability.
The proposed fee was described as a lump-sum engineering charge of $55,000, tied to resolution number 2507 and agreement 25‑4. Council moved and approved the resolution by voice vote.
