Corcoran City Council set a brief special meeting for noon on Dec. 30 to address collective-bargaining ratification or bridging options before the current collective-bargaining agreement expires on Dec. 31.
City staff said the Dec. 30 meeting may be a short, 10- to 15-minute session and that any ratification must be completed prior to the contract expiration. Council members acknowledged the scheduling need and confirmed availability for a noon meeting on Dec. 30.
No formal agreement text or vote outcome was recorded at the Dec. 15 meeting; the Dec. 30 session is intended to allow council action if bargaining yields a ratification that must be acted on prior to the contract expiration.
