The Building, Zoning and Economic Development Committee on April 9 approved a conditional-use plan and preliminary plat for Harvest Pointe, a proposed 59-unit single-family subdivision north of Butterfield Road in Aurora.
Senior planner Jewel Morgan told the committee the petitioner seeks to change zoning for the site to R-2 with OS-1 open-space for stormwater detention and to rezone about 0.3 acres to remove that land from the Marmion plan description. Morgan said the plan includes modest modifications to bulk standards — a slightly smaller minimum lot size and width, higher minimum building size and a requirement that buildings include basements.
