Supervisors reappoint Deborah Redmond to regional housing authority

Redmond, who said she has served on the housing authority board for three years, described the role as an opportunity to advocate for services such as disability access and housing voucher openings across southwest Iowa. Supervisors confirmed Redmond met appointment qualifications (not an elected official, legal resident and property owner) before approving the motion by roll call.
The board recorded ayes from Chairman Shea and Supervisors Jorgensen, Jones, Miller and Wickman.
