City confirms service-line assistance program: letters sent, roughly 50% cost-share for property owners

Letters were mailed in the last few weeks to property owners showing their 50% cost share once contractor numbers were finalized.
"It basically funds 50% of certain upgrades," the city manager said when describing the historic BRA program that has operated for a number of years. Staff said both residents and business owners are on the list of participants and encouraged property owners who had not yet signed up to contact the city manager or Adam Beaulieu for paperwork and next steps.
The URA asked for a brief update and pictures at the next meeting so the board can consider outreach and website content for the project; staff agreed to provide project photos and a status report at the next URA meeting.
