Commissioners proclaim Falls Prevention Awareness Week; senior center invites public to Age Well Expo

The proclamation noted evidence-based programs reduce falls and named the Oregon Falls Prevention Coalition as a partner in awareness efforts.
A representative of the Klamath Basin Senior Center thanked the commissioners and invited the public to the Age Well Expo on Tuesday, Sept. 23 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 2045 Arthur Street. The event will include exercise classes, demonstrations, raffles, lunch, medication reviews and free vaccines; organizers listed multiple partner organizations and more than 34 exhibitors.
Commissioners posed for a photograph with guests and the board entered the proclamation into the record.
