Kiwanis representative thanks council and promotes Pancake Day fundraiser set for Feb. 21

He said the organization provides scholarships to local high school seniors (noting typical scholarship amounts in the $12,000 range) and that annual giving is typically about $28,000–$30,000.
Isbell asked whether the city charges the Kiwanis group for storing a container the club uses for griddles and supplies; a council member asked staff (Tina) to follow up after the meeting to check whether storage fees apply.
