Daggett County commissioners approved two sets of meeting minutes and received several staff and citizen updates during their March 11, 2025, meeting.
Minutes: A motion to approve the combined Daggett County Commission and RDA minutes from Feb. 25, 2025, was made and seconded and carried by voice vote with three 'Aye' responses. A second motion to approve minutes from March 4, 2025, was also made and seconded and recorded as approved; one member excused themself during the discussion.
Staff updates and citizen comments: Commissioners were briefed on airport planning (staff spoke with Brett Reynolds about a Manila Airport layout update) and on EMS and sheriff's office matters. Several citizens and a commissioner noted an application to a regional "blueprint" economic-development program (the speaker named the applicant organization in the meeting) and expressed interest in promoting a revolving loan program through UBAD to support local businesses. Meeting participants also noted two outstanding information items to be provided by Ryan Kelly.
