The Daggett County Municipal Building Authority confirmed a public hearing for the proposed water treatment plant on March 11, 2025, and staff said Thursday that public notices and agenda materials have been posted and reviewed.
Kent Snyder, staff member, told the Authority, “We’ve got the public meeting scheduled for March 11, I believe,” and said the hearing date is the day they expect to move the project forward. Snyder added that the public hearing notice and related agenda materials have been posted.
Lorinda Isaacson, named during roll call, was singled out by a staff speaker for coordinating outreach: “Lorinda has been great working with Kimberly and Eric’s office,” the speaker said, noting coordination across offices to ensure notices were correct.
The hearing will be the formal public opportunity for residents to comment on the water treatment plant plans and for staff to present final project details; no substantive project decisions were made at the March 4 meeting. The Authority did not vote on any funding or construction authorizations on March 4.
The Authority’s next relevant calendar item is the March 11 public meeting; staff indicated they believe materials are ready to support the hearing and requested nothing further of the Authority at the March 4 session.
