Daggett County approves business licenses; opens bids for rodeo fence, hears SunRock ADA grant news

Daggett County commissioners voted to approve completed business license applications for Diamond Mountain Marketing, HC Fabrication, Home Chef Marketplace, Intermountain Concrete Company, Moon Lake Electric and Strata Network.
Earlier in the meeting the commission opened bids for construction of a fence along the rodeo grounds and announced three bids: Watts Fence Company (approximately $25,347.32), C & H Cowboy Construction LLC (approximately $49,477.28) and Bridger Valley Fence (approximately $30,850.25). Commissioners asked buildings-and-grounds staff and members of the rodeo-grounds committee (Jacob and Kate, Jesse and Randy were mentioned) to verify that each bid covers identical quantities and scope before the board considers awarding the contract.
Committee members also announced that SunRock submitted a grant application to fund ADA improvements at the rodeo grounds and that the application has been successful. Committee representatives said the award would help fund concrete work for ADA areas, berm work, fencing, lighting and sidewalks, and thanked county staff and volunteers for their support.
A motion to approve the listed business licenses was seconded and passed by voice vote.
