Huntington — The Huntington City Council on March 19 received an update from planning and zoning on proposed revisions to Title 9, the city’s subdivision regulations.
Council members were told that planning and zoning reviewed a lengthy draft of subdivision changes prepared with assistance at the state level. The proposed edits are shown in red on the draft; planning and zoning approved forwarding the redlined document to the council. The council chair asked members to read the redlined changes when Janine (staff) distributes them and indicated the matter will likely be back on the council agenda next month for possible approval.
No ordinance language was adopted at the meeting. Councilmembers and staff described the draft as substantial and asked council members to review the redlined version before formal action is considered.
