An Unidentified Speaker (S3) told the Daggett County Commission on July 29 that they had not yet been kept sufficiently informed about a development plan tied to the Dutch John airport bench and said they would work to be more involved as a landowner in the Redevelopment Agency (RDA).
S3 said they had missed a recent work meeting and could not say where the plan currently stood. The presiding official (Unidentified Speaker S1) said staff had requested a copy of the plan and that the RDA has been meeting monthly; the presiding official said they believed there was a meeting on July 17 and that another was scheduled in August. Both speakers said they wanted the commission to be able to review the draft plan so the county could submit formal comments.
No formal action, ordinance, resolution or funding decision regarding the plan was taken during the recorded portion of the meeting. The issue was discussed as an update; S3 committed to try to tie in with RDA work and to provide more information at a future meeting.
