Kane County commissioners voted unanimously to adopt a revised Kanab Center schedule of fees, approving a resolution to make the document effective Sept. 16, 2025 and directing the county attorney and staff to finalize minor edits.
The fee schedule clarifies rates for local and non-local users, rental of equipment and facility use and includes a replacement/usage fee structure for equipment under and over $200 replacement value. The county attorney proposed two changes to the local-use priority language to combine county and Kanab City departmental use in the booking-priority section and suggested a grammatical correction on a lease clause; commissioners agreed and instructed staff to update the packet before finalization.
The commission recorded unanimous support for the resolution and asked county staff to attach the fee schedule to the annual fee-resolution materials so it appears in January updates going forward.
