"The City of Green River hereby adopts the Utah State Tax Commission certified tax rate of 0.002706 for the city," the resolution language states. Councilmembers moved and seconded the resolution, and a roll call vote of those present recorded unanimous approval.
Councilmembers noted the rate represents a slight decrease from the prior certified rate of 0.00283; no additional changes to tax policy or expenditures were discussed during the vote. The resolution binds the city to the certified rate for the coming fiscal year.
