Daggett County Municipal Building Authority approves minutes, acknowledges $679,183.50 in disbursements

The authority approved meeting minutes from Sept. 5, 2025. Speaker 2 moved to approve the Sept. 5 minutes and Speaker 3 seconded; a voice vote recorded three ayes and the motion carried. The board then approved the minutes from Sept. 23, 2025, after a similar motion and voice vote; Speaker 1 remarked, "I think I got it right that time."
The MBA acknowledged receipt of the cash summary as of Sept. 26, 2025, and the accounts receivable report after Speaker 2 moved to accept the reports and Speaker 3 seconded; the motion carried by voice vote. The board also reviewed a disbursement summary dated Sept. 22–25 totaling $679,183.50. Speaker 1 noted there was no open invoice or reimbursement register for the MBA that day and presented the disbursement summary; Speaker 3 moved to acknowledge it as presented (no void amount) and the motion carried.
On projects, Speaker 1 asked for updates on the water treatment plant; Speaker 3 said, "Everything seems to be moving forward." On the new clinic building, Speaker 2 reported increased on‑site activity and that the contractor had poured the floor and prepared for wall framing, noting samples of yard dirt had been taken for compression testing to determine suitability for backfill. In response to Speaker 3’s question about testing, Speaker 2 said samples were taken the previous weekend and results were expected in a couple of days; some material may need to be hauled in.
Administrative items included a request to apply a stamp to meeting documents (Lorinda was offered the task) and a brief calendar review; the authority noted a construction meeting scheduled for the following Thursday and agreed to verify the adjusted time. Speaker 1 introduced an item on change orders and construction directives for the Daggett County Health, Business and Community Center and said there were none to consider.
With no further business, Speaker 1 adjourned the meeting by acclamation at 9:43 a.m.
