Speaker 4 reported the town’s water crew and contractor Sagers located and repaired a leak without having to tear up the road. The repair required access to both sides of the pavement; council members noted a pothole or settling at the repair site that may need attention later.
Speaker 4 also said the town’s annual drinking-water quality report was complete and submitted, and that the water results showed everything was satisfactory. "Our annual drinking water quality report is in. So if anybody wants to see that, everything was good on that," Speaker 4 said.
Council members asked staff to monitor the repaired site for settling and to follow up if paving or additional road work is required. No decisions about additional spending or emergency repairs were made at the meeting.
Next steps: monitor the repair site for settling and plan roadway patching if necessary; maintain public access to the water-quality report.
