Clerk's office staff (Nicole) told commissioners the Thursday deadline gives staff an extra day to fix or collect late materials and helps in weeks when Monday is a holiday. Commissioners voted to approve the change by voice vote.
The commission framed the update as an administrative improvement to ensure adequate public notice and staff preparation rather than a substantive change to meeting policy.
