Daggett County adopts 2025 certified tax rates and budgets

The Daggett County Commission on Aug. 26 adopted three resolutions (25-13, 25-14 and 25-15) that set the county’s certified tax rates and budgets for tax year 2025.
With county auditor Carrie Polson present, commissioners discussed whether the new rates differed from the prior year and confirmed adoption of the final rates and budgets. The motion to adopt all three resolutions at once was made, seconded and approved by voice vote; county staff said the change will be reflected on property-tax notices to be mailed to property owners.
Commissioners did not state detailed rate figures during the public portion of the meeting; those figures are included in the adopted resolutions in the meeting packet.
