Daggett County commissioners reviewed a proposed sewer-easement alignment that would run under an expanded airport and near property adjacent to Ruble Lane.
Brett (utility/contractor representative) said Sunrise and SIPCO have coordinated on the alignment, requested a sleeve where the sewer would pass beneath airport property and suggested moving a lateral to avoid conflict with a prospective access road. Brett recommended showing the sewer alignment on the county’s airport layout plan so future airport work accounts for the utility line. Commissioners and staff agreed to send the easement materials to county staff and the county attorney for legal review and to defer final approval until those reviews are complete.
No formal approval was taken at the meeting; the commission asked staff to circulate documents to the relevant stakeholders and consult with the airport plan reviewer and legal counsel before returning the item to a future agenda.
