Meadow Town Council approves minutes and bills, hears public concerns about ordinances and trash

Speaker 1 moved to approve the minutes; Speaker 7 seconded and the motion passed. Later, Speaker 1 moved to pay the bills, including recently received and anticipated utility invoices; the council voted "Aye" and approved payment.
During public comment, Speaker 8 urged the council to read and cite ordinance language when discussing code changes so the public can confirm the town record book is up to date. Speaker 9 asked the council to restore building-permit review to the regular agenda so residents can follow local projects and offered to help read permit lists if staff time is limited.
Speaker 4 raised recurring neighborhood problems with trash trailers, weeds and grates that collect debris, asked the town to push property owners to clean up and recounted direct intervention to get one property tidied. Councilmembers acknowledged the complaints and discussed possible outreach or notices.
Department updates included a finance report with several line items noted by Speaker 7, a water update from Speaker 5 reporting about 50 gallons per minute from springs and about 150 gallons per minute from the well, a parks cleanup day and an upcoming burial where Jordan will use an excavator to avoid manual digging, and a fire-department note that many hydrants have been newly painted and that a vendor will spray weeds around targeted areas.
Next steps: staff will add the data privacy item to the next agenda for fuller review and the council will follow up on resident concerns and routine departmental maintenance at future meetings.
