Levan council approves minutes, claims and payroll reports; hears routine reports and adjourns

After a correction was noted to the Aug. 25 minutes, a council member moved to approve the minutes and another member seconded; the council voted 'Aye' and the motion carried. The council then approved claims for 08/01/2025–08/31/2025, the payroll comparison report for 07/01/2025–08/31/2025, and the final cash receipts report for 07/01/2025–07/31/2025 following a motion and vote.
Council members reported on recent street sealing and chip work underway in town, attendance at a fire meeting (reported as progressing normally), that the planning commission had no business last month, and that one fence permit had been issued for Taylor Bridal.
No public comments were offered during the public comment period. A motion to adjourn carried and the meeting ended that evening.
