Wendy described planned volunteer maintenance: "The Utah Backcountry Pilots Association next spring after the wildlife restriction is expires at the April is planning to, put together a work party ... and we have volunteers who have offered to bring some skid steer or a couple of skid steers to weed out the ditches ... and also to gather the rocks to make the L shaped marks at the corners" so pilots can identify the strip from the air and avoid the east end that the BLM asked to be closed.
Commissioners agreed to have the signed documents scanned and emailed to the BLM contact so the agency can file the FAA application and lease information when the BLM representative returns from furlough. No roll-call vote tallies were recorded in the meeting transcript; actions were carried by voice vote.
