Kane County Redevelopment Agency adopts revised bylaws and names Gwynne Brown vice chair

The Kane County Redevelopment Agency adopted amended bylaws and appointed a vice chair during a short meeting on Feb. 11, 2025, in the Commission Chamber of the Kane County Courthouse.

On the second action item, Member (Speaker 2) nominated Gwynne Brown for the vice chair position, citing her county planning experience and prior work with government processes. The nominee said she was not yet fully familiar with the role but agreed to learn the duties if appointed. The board voted unanimously to appoint Gwynne Brown as vice chair.
