The Clawson Town Council met and approved the October meeting minutes and a motion to pay the town's regular bills before adjourning.
Speaker 4 moved to approve the October minutes; Speaker 1 called for assent and recorded unanimous approval. Later in the meeting Speaker 3 moved to pay the regular bills; after a second, Speaker 1 recorded the ayes and directed payment pending the treasurer’s forthcoming report. Speaker 5 said the treasurer was out of town and will mail the financial report when available.
Council members also discussed the council’s annual holiday dinner and tentatively selected Dec. 15, contingent on the availability of their preferred local caterer, Get Your Smoke On, and noted the date coincides with the first night of Hanukkah. Speakers said they would confirm caterer availability and, if necessary, change the date or choose a different caterer.
Other routine items included reports on seasonal maintenance and equipment readiness; the meeting concluded after a motion to adjourn passed.
Next steps: council staff will confirm caterer availability for Dec. 15 and circulate the treasurer’s report when it arrives.
