Clawson council cancels uncontested 2025 election, ratifies county emergency plan and approves minutes and bills

Clawson Town Council members voted to cancel the town's uncontested 2025 election, ratified the county emergency plan and approved routine business at their Sept. 11 meeting.

Speaker 2 introduced Resolution 2025002 to cancel the 2025 election because "everybody ran unopposed, so there's no need for us to have an election this year." Speaker 4 moved to approve the resolution and Speaker 3 seconded; members responded "Aye," and the resolution was carried.

Earlier in the meeting Speaker 2 moved and Speaker 3 seconded acceptance of the previous meeting's minutes; the council approved the minutes with an "Aye" vote.
