Council also authorized the road closures needed to assemble and conduct the Palmyra Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 25, 2026. Staging areas were scheduled to open at 8:30 a.m., with the parade route running from 10:00 a.m. to approximately 12:30 p.m., beginning at West Cherry Street and South Mark Street, proceeding past Palmyra Area Middle School and disbanding at the same school. The motion to approve the parade closures was moved and seconded and carried by voice vote.
No objections were recorded in the meeting minutes; the actions were entered on the consent calendar and carried by voice vote.
