Daggett County commissioners approved multiple budget and contract items during their Dec. 2025 meeting, including a purchase order and contract to Deseret Digital Media (ksl.com) for $13,400 and renewal of the county's Google Workspace licensing for $8,141.20.
The actions were taken as part of the meeting's standing business and procurement agenda. The commission voted to acknowledge the county and RDA cash summary and accounts receivable report as of 12/01/2025, approved the open invoice register dated 12/01/2025 for $107,445.50, accepted a reimbursement register for payroll period 11/9–11/22/2025 for $83.30, and approved a disbursement summary for 11/19–12/01/2025 totaling $97,802.04.
Cordell McCracken, presenting for the county IT department, described the Google Workspace renewal as necessary. "It's time to renew our Google Workspace licensing," said Unidentified Speaker 1, who introduced the IT request, and the commission approved the purchase request.
Commissioners also approved a $2,000 marketing proposal with Herman Global Tourism Insights and Marketing to include mobile-brand sponsorship on Visit USA Parks and state press channels. One commissioner raised a caution about broad international reach, saying they did not want to "spend and get 10,000 hits in China" if the county's goal was to focus promotion closer to home; the motion to approve Herman Global passed after discussion.
