The Daggett County Commission approved a petition to vacate a public right‑of‑way so the county may create a parcel for the planned Daggett County Health, Business and Community Center.
The commission held a public hearing and heard positive comment from Tri County Health in support of the right‑of‑way vacation to permit parcel creation for the new building. Commissioners said they collaborated with the City and Town of Manila to make the process work.
A motion to approve the vacation was made, seconded and passed by voice vote.
Staff said the vacation will allow creation of a parcel for the new health and community facility and that additional planning and permitting steps will follow.
