HUNTINGTON — The Planning and Zoning Commission agreed on Nov. 13 to begin a chapter-by-chapter review of Chapter 9 (zoning regulations). The commission proposed handling 9-1 (general provisions) and 9-2 (definitions) together at an early meeting and then proceeding through subsequent sections over several meetings to identify any changes needed.
Members suggested dividing the work so each meeting could address a manageable set of sections, noting much of Chapter 9 is procedural and may move quickly, while specific sections such as conditional uses (9-8) will require more detailed review.
