Commissioners noted the closest main sewer line is on 300 South, roughly 500 feet to the west, and that road construction and utility hookups will be necessary for interior lots. The commission discussed whether the property owner would install roads and utilities or leave that responsibility to lot purchasers; the developer indicated the owner would be responsible for roads as part of the subdivision.
The Commission agreed to schedule the required public hearing at the next meeting and invited the property owner (referred to as "Arnold" in the meeting) to attend to answer questions about timing for road and utility construction.
