Organizers warn Corinne community ball game may be canceled without more volunteers

Caldwell said the committee needs about six people for concessions and two people to manage each game, and that longtime volunteers are unable to cover duties this year. "This was our creation ... it's our biggest fundraiser," Caldwell said, urging members to help with setup, running concessions and teardown. The council agreed to seek volunteers and asked members to provide names within about a week so the committee could decide whether to proceed.
No formal action was taken; council members said they would try to identify volunteers and return with names by the committee’s next meeting.
