The council reapproved the Municipal Wastewater Planning Program (MWPP) for another year and completed routine business including approval of prior minutes and a list of vendor and payroll payments.
Speaker 2 introduced the MWPP reapproval as an annual technical requirement. The transcript records a motion in which a speaker stated, "Tom Little moved to adopt the municipal ... planning program," and the motion was seconded and carried. The transcript does not include a roll-call tally for the MWPP vote.
Earlier in the meeting the council moved to approve previous meeting minutes "as written, including the closed meeting." The motion was seconded and members voiced assent and the chair declared the motion carried.
The council reviewed consent and accounts-payable items read aloud by Speaker 2, including $6,159.73 for the public employees health program, $25.23 for accident/dismemberment insurance, $13,600 for irrigation shares to Fairbrook and Out Company, payroll amounts (Kenjin Norman $1,866.11; Kelly Nicholas $1,989.24; JL Nicholas $2,061.75; Elka Wallace $170.97) and vendor payments to Bear River Valley Co-op, Comcast, Enbridge Gas, Griswold Industries, Macintosh Communications and others. The council proceeded with standard approval of those items as presented; no separate roll-call tallies were included in the transcript.
Speaker 2 also announced the town's online bill-pay widget should be active that night; staff will add the widget to the website and include the change in the newsletter, with a request to wait for confirmation before posting on social media.
The meeting concluded after a motion to adjourn.
