Committee plans volunteer workdays and ties bike festival to Joe's Valley trails

Terry and other organizers said the bicycle festival itinerary will include rides on newly improved trails and a Friday morning work project at Joe's Valley. "We're just getting starting to get some things pulled together and get our sponsors in line," one committee member said, noting towns that have committed sponsorship: Barns, Castle Dale, Orangeville and Huntington.
Members discussed equipment logistics — whether to borrow Josh's hammer/drill or rent tools — and set tentative project dates around March 17–19 and a festival window of May 2–4. The committee also discussed outreach to vendors and using different food vendors for each meal to spread benefits to local businesses.
