Speaker 4, the owner of Lots 1 and 2 in the Osprey Landing Subdivision, told the commission he purchased both lots conditional on vacating a right-of-way and asked to combine them into a single taxable parcel (referred to as Lot 1A) to build a house and a shop.
Planning and zoning reviewed the proposed lot combination and did not require a public hearing for the plat amendment; the commission heard that PNZ accepted the change. Commissioners discussed sequencing with the Eagles Landing right-of-way matter to ensure no parcel becomes landlocked. After discussion the board voted to concur with planning and zoning and approve the plat amendment to combine Lots 1 and 2.
Speaker 4 asked about the signature and attestation process to finalize the state filing; staff arranged for a signatory attestation and noted the owner could return with notarized documents as needed. The action was recorded on the meeting minutes and signed documents will be attested and filed.
