After discussion about precise motion wording, Speaker 1 moved to concur with the planning and zoning letter of recommendation and approve the plat amendment for the Eagles Landing right-of-way, with approval "contingent upon UDOT review and any possible or potential approvals they may require." The motion was seconded, recorded vocal "Aye" responses were heard, and Speaker 2 abstained because of his involvement in the property. The commission moved to approve the plat amendment with the UDOT contingency.
Next steps: County staff will await written communication from UDOT detailing any required improvements or conditions (signage, culvert, approach work) before the right-of-way change is finalized.
