The Corinne City Council unanimously adopted a resolution revising the city’s fee schedule to include updated sports field fees, a meter relocation fee, a microtrench charge and animal-control enforcement fines.
During discussion, council members agreed not to charge an additional per-game fee beyond an hourly rate for field use; the stated goal was to discourage overbooking and to reserve a low hourly rate for practices. The resolution includes a meter relocation fee of $500 for property owners who request a meter moved. The city engineer requested—and the council added—a microtrench fee of $0.60 per foot to be applied in addition to existing franchise fees for work within the right-of-way.
Animal-control fines were also clarified in the schedule: the clerk summarized warning and citation levels and council confirmed that unpaid fines would be referred to the court system. A motion to approve the amended fee schedule was made and seconded; the council voted and the motion carried unanimously.
The resolution amendments discussed at the meeting will be applied when staff implements the new fee schedule and processes related permits and citations.
