Trust Lands Administration outlines board tour, Dingle exchange and state‑land commercial lease for data center

On legislative developments, Torgerson summarized House Bill 103 (state land access), which codifies a practice requiring agencies perfect roads necessary for public use before selling state land, and House Bill 483, which requires school and institutional trust lands to be sold for no less than fair market value and gives current permit holders a first right to purchase under specified criteria. He said the bills largely codify existing trust‑land practices.
Torgerson also noted the spring auction includes one parcel in Emery County (near Hatch Ranch) and encouraged interested parties to review the details on the Trust Lands Administration website.
