The Emery County Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously approved the minutes from its Dec. 10, 2025 meeting and adopted the commission’s 2026 meeting schedule during its Jan. 14 session.
During the meeting, one commissioner said they had not read the prior meeting’s minutes but commissioners proceeded. Commissioner Bart Cox moved to approve the Dec. 10 minutes and Commissioner Bill Delos seconded; the motion passed by voice vote with all in favor.
The commission also reviewed the 2026 meeting calendar and identified a conflict with Veterans Day that required moving one meeting back one week. Members discussed shifting start times for some months (March–May) between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to accommodate schedules. Commissioner Bill Delos moved to approve the schedule and Bart Cox seconded; that motion likewise passed unanimously by voice vote.
