Huntington MBA approves 2025 budget adjustment and adopts FY2026 budget

After public comment and closing the hearing, the board took formal action on two resolutions.
Resolution 7-2025, to adjust the MBA 2025 budget by increasing revenue and expenses from $41,830 to $46,230, was moved by Judd and seconded by Tom Kaye. The board recorded affirmative votes from Gloria Wilson, Judd, Devin Wilson, Lisa Miller and Tom Kaye and the motion passed.
Resolution 8-2025, to set the MBA fiscal year budget at $86,820, was moved by Tom Kaye and seconded by Devin Wilson. The same members recorded aye votes and the motion passed.
The meeting also included routine business: the board approved minutes from its June 18, 2024 meeting (motion by Gloria Wilson; second by Lisa Miller) and, with no further business, adjourned after a motion by Gloria Wilson and a second by Lisa Miller.
No statutes, grants, contracts or external funding sources were referenced during the hearing and no votes to amend either resolution were recorded. The hearing record shows an on-site participant identified by the chair as an employee rather than a member of the public; no substantive objections or votes against the resolutions were recorded.
