Senate journals bond initiatives and refers governor's recess appointment to nominations committee

During the pro forma session, the clerk read several bond initiatives and ordered them to the capital budget subcommittee. The first bond item identified in the reading was presented as from Senator King and described as supporting community services for adults and children and Community School of Maryland; the presiding officer directed bond initiatives to the capital budget subcommittee for committee review.

The Senate also received a written message from the governor that the clerk read aloud.
