The Vision Fund Committee on Oct. 23 accepted financial statements showing roughly $995,000 in cash and about $286,000 designated for three approved projects that have not yet drawn funds.
Eric London, the city comptroller, told the committee the fund currently holds about $995,000 in cash and that $286,000 of that is committed to previously approved projects (LightSpring, Simply Golden Properties and All Green Properties for Armor Interactive). He said the fund has not yet started receiving repayments on prior buydown loans but expects repayments to begin in mid‑2026. London also reported the city paid $250,000 to economic development partners for 2025 services.
The committee moved and voted to accept the financial statements. No member voiced objections during the motion and the chair declared the motion carried.
Committee members briefly discussed the fund’s remaining capacity and noted that, after the meeting’s approvals, the Vision Fund would have money available for roughly four additional projects under current commitments. Members asked staff about timing to pursue additional funding sources; staff and the mayor said the option of reallocating budget items or seeking additional appropriations would be considered but no decision was made.
The committee took the action to accept the financial statements and then proceeded to consider applications and request changes to previously approved local matches.
