Staff found the subdivision consistent with the comprehensive plan and recommended approval; commissioners approved the replat by roll call.
Separately, Investcorp’s annexation of parts of Silver Ranch fifth edition (about 4.1 acres and 16 lots in four blocks) was presented for final consideration; staff recommended approval with a condition that a previously approved annexation be recorded first. The commission approved the annexation with the stated condition.
The commission also approved a requested revision to the Silver Ranch fifth edition PUD to reduce a previously approved 25‑foot front yard setback to 20 feet for yards with a garage face and to 15 feet for some corner lots without a garage face, and to reduce the minimum lot width from 55 to 50 feet to provide flexibility for pie‑shaped lots. The applicant emphasized this provides flexibility and does not anticipate lots becoming smaller in practice; the project was described as a 55+ community in some portions. Commissioner Schell noted that the city owns property across the street reserved for a future fire station, explaining in part why neighbors may not have commented at the hearing.
All Silver Ranch items were approved during the meeting by roll call votes.
